I had a delightful experience at this hotel. He provided me with an extension lead for my cpap machine and even replaced my missing walking poles. The hostal was cozy, and they had stoves available for us to dry our clothes and warm up after walking in severe weather. it was an extremely pleasant experience.

Comfortable beds: The beds at this hotel were reasonably comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep after a long day of walking. Convenient location: The hotel's location was key, as it was easily accessible and close to the main attractions of the city, making it convenient for exploring.- Friendly staff: The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, providing assistance and ensuring a pleasant stay.
Language barrier: The staff had difficulty communicating in English, which made it challenging for non-Spanish speaking guests to interact and understand each other. Limited services: The hotel did not offer food service and there were no power outlets or USB charging ports in the rooms, which could be inconvenient for guests needing these amenities.

The host was unfriendly and only spoke Spanish, making communication difficult. Despite being advertised as a 1pm check-in, we were made to wait until 2pm, and the host was not helpful or welcoming. the garden area was unusable, and there were no food or drink options available on-site, contrary to what was promised. the temperature was extremely cold, but the heaters were not turned on, and when we asked for blankets, the host seemed annoyed.
This was by far our worst experience on the Camino, and . Cons: Can’t think of anything ☹️.

The language barrier posed a challenge, as the staff had limited English proficiency. the lack of communication and unfriendly behavior was disappointing, especially when dealing with important matters like checking in.

I had a friendly and comfortable stay at Albergue Estrella. the common spaces and garden area were beautiful and well-maintained. Despite not having a pilgrim dinner on the Sunday I stayed, I could tell that the food would have been great based on the care put into the rest of the albergue. the hospitalero was kind and provided helpful recommendations for food in town.
It was a pleasant experience. Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property.

stayed in fromista before, but Albergue Estrella Del Camino was a pleasant surprise during this crab fest. Comfortable beds, private cupboards, and good shower facilities made for a great stay.
Wifi was unreliable.

Hot showers were a relief after a long day of walking. The beds were comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. The location was convenient, with easy access to key points of interest.
The owner/operator was extremely rude and unhelpful. The promised amenities, such as a washer and dinner/breakfast, were not available.

The host was unfriendly and had limited language skills. Check-in was not smooth as the stated time was not followed. the garden area was not usable and there were no food or drink options available. Despite the chilly temperature, the heaters were not turned on and we had to ask for extra blankets. I would not recommend this place for anyone traveling on the Camino. Cons: Nothing, it is perfect! ✨👌.

We recently stayed at a charming albergue while walking the Camino. The room was comfortable and provided a much-needed respite after a long day of walking. There was plenty of space to relax and reflect on our journey. We especially enjoyed the peaceful ambiance of the surroundings.
Although there were some minor inconveniences, such as the challenging bathroom situation with only one facility, we managed to navigate it with caution. It's important to watch your step on the wet floors, but overall, it did not detract from our positive experience.
